CAC -40° Wall Units
Available Capacities (Btu/h)
Standard - 18,000/24,000/30,000/36,000
Low ambient, cooling-only system that can cool down to -40°. 18K and 24K Btu/h systems will use the Whisper (triangle) type chassis. 30K and 36K Btu/h systems will use the Max chassis. The system boasts advanced configuration options for high room temperature alerts using MIM-B14 external contact control to alert a BMS or to activate a second backup system.

Works Smart. Saves Energy. The CAC wall mount unit features a highly-energy efficient Digital Inverter system. The system can maintain the desired set temperature without frequently shutting off and on, which provides substantial reduction of energy consumption. The Digital Inverter system helps you stay comfortable for long periods of time while using minimal energy. Low outdoor noise levels are also a benefit of the Digital Inverter system.
Direct connection to Samsung NASA DVM S
Connect directly to the Samsung NASA DVM S central control options including BACnet and LonWorks Gateways without any interface modules or adapters. This makes the CAC Wall Mount systems a simple and easy addition to your next DVM S project for areas where a dedicated one-to-one system is needed.
Low Ambient Cooling
The low ambient cooling only wall mount systems are capable of operating in outdoor temperatures down to -40°. This type of performance makes the -40° Low Ambient Series a perfect solution for projects that require year-round cooling without the worry of having systems shut off in the middle of winter. Wind Baffle accessories are required.
Emergency Temperature Output (ETO)
Emergency Temperature Output (ETO) setting provides a signal from a CAC wall mount unit that can be used to enable a backup system or to notify a BMS if room temperature gets too high. For example, a backup system can be activated if the main system shuts off due to an error or if the Main unit is unable to maintain desired temperature. MIM-B14 External Contact interface modules are required for both units, along with additional field wiring and configuration of the systems.
