Distribution Director

Samsung HVAC is headquartered in Roanoke, Texas, with offices in California and Pennsylvania. Samsung HVAC imports and manages equipment sales to HVACR wholesale distributors, manufacturer representatives and plan and specification representatives throughout Canada and the USA. Samsung HVAC provides distributors and representatives a wide range of related products from a single source, becoming a value added supplier to over thirteen hundred distributor locations across North America. Quietside also leads the way in product availability, hands-on technical training (recognized by national certification agencies) and competitive sales programs. Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for working with the Distributor sales team to assist with all Distributor initiatives. Areas of responsibilities include following up on new Distributor leads and opportunities, following up on team’s performance, assisting in presenting Distributor presentations, developing and review Distributor reports and materials and manage Distributor Network Programs. This position will work closely with internal teams (Operations, Technical Support, etc.) to support the Distributor Relationship Sales Team.

In this position, either directly or through others, the incumbent will:

  • Provide support to outside Distributor Relationship Sales Team

  • Administer distributor programs

  • Support sales of product line through developing and enhancing current distributor relationships

  • Draft and mail distributor correspondence and .

  • Act as a liaison with all Quietside departments to ensure Distributors have the necessary resources to service their customers

  • Maintain Distributor Network Program

  • Prepare and analyze sales quotes, samples, sales results and forecast data

Background/Experience:

To qualify for this position, the following minimal background and skill levels are required:

  • A high school education or verifiable GED plus specialized training or some college courses in business administration or a related field, or equivalent work experience in customer service

  • 2 plus years of customer service or administrative experience analyzing and solving customer problems required; prior sales support experience PLUS

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; high level capacity to multitask independently and on a computer

  • Knowledge of HVAC Industry a PLUS

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to perform in a high volume, fast paced call center environment

  • Proven ability to work independently as well as a productive member of a team

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management focus

Physical/Mental Demands and Working Conditions:

The position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:

  • Operate a computer keyboard, telephone and view a video display terminal more than 90% of work time

  • Able to meet minimum call center metrics

  • Visual acuity, color distinction, and numeric and character detail distinction for the analysis and preparation of statistical reports and information

  • Lift, move, or adjust general office equipment, boxes, or materials weighing up to 50 pounds using proper materials handling equipment and procedures

  • Occasionally work additional hours beyond normal schedule
